ABOUT THE PATTERN

The Cycle Scrunchie is worked flat in two mirrored sections. The project begins with a provisional cast-on. After a few setup rows, increases are worked to create the ruffles. A contrasting border is then worked along the edge. Stitches are picked up before the provisional cast-on and worked for a few rows, then joined to the provisional cast-on stitches to create the tunnel for the elastic. The second section is then worked in the same way as the first. Finally, the elastic and hardware are attached.

We have video tutorials accompanying the pattern.
