Who are we?

Hi!

We are Elli & Lotti!
Two sisters from Germany who love to knit, crochet & sew.

And … it kind of escalated.

It all started with this bag…

... one reel and more than 7 million views in 2022.

What started as a fun little project suddenly turned into a little brand called "FESTNETZ". And we have been crafting to our hearts desire ever since.

Meet Elli

  • Lives in Munich

Fun fact about Elli:
She (almost) never has more than one WIP at a time.

Meet Lotti

  • Moving to Munich
  • Studies medicine
  • Sewed a whole dirndl (!!!)
  • Always down to go out
  • Loves to listens to German rap
  • Born in 2003

Fun fact (not so fun for Lotti):

Lotti is only allowed to knit in colors that match Elli’s color palette (never black!).

And then there was the Dream Vest.

Our first pattern together and low key the moment things got serious. We went from fun little projects to actually creating something for us and for all of you guys.

What FESTNETZ is really about

We want to bring back more appreciation for the handmade things!

Like knowing what actually goes into a piece and why it is so much more than just another trend.

We are all about mixing analog and digital.
Taking a hands on, more traditional hobby and giving it a digital twist that actually makes sense.

Less overconsumption. More intention.
More pieces you actually love, keep, and wear. <3
